Ukrainian drone developers Dyki Shershni (Wild Hornets) have reported that their Sting interceptor drones have destroyed 900 Russian targets since July 2025.

Details: The developers added that they continue improving the technology and "turning the impossible into reality".

The Sting interceptor drone is equipped with an AI-guided targeting system and can reach speeds exceeding 315 km/h.

Background:

  • As of early October, Ukrainian forces using Wild Hornets drones had destroyed 153 tanks, 231 armoured vehicles, 124 artillery systems or multiple-launch rocket systems, 669 vehicles and ammunition storage points, more than 600 Shahed and Gerbera drones, 1,268 reconnaissance and strike drones, 4 air defence systems and multiple Russian positions and killed over 1,000 Russian personnel.
  • In total, by that time, the damage inflicted on Russian forces with the help of Dyki Shershni drones was estimated at US$1.96 billion.
