Trump urges Putin to stop killing Ukrainians and Russians

US President Donald Trump has called on Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin to stop killing Ukrainians and Russians and said that Ukraine wants to launch an offensive.

Details: Trump said he will soon speak with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the war.

Quote: "We'll be talking about... They want to go offensive. I'll make a determination on that, but they would like to go offensive."

Details: Trump added that Russia had lost 1.5 million people since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, "soldiers mostly".
