An air-raid warning has been issued across Ukraine on the morning of 16 October following the take-off of a Russian MiG-31K aircraft, after which explosions have been heard in several cities.

Details: Suspilne correspondents said that explosions had been heard in the cities of Kharkiv, Kropyvnytskyi, Izium and Poltava.

Ukraine's Air Force wrote that a Russian MiG-31K had taken off, capable of carrying the Kinzhal hypersonic missile.

In addition, the Air Force reported high-speed targets heading towards Pavlohrad and Dnipro. Missiles were also said to be moving in the direction of Poltava.
