Zelenskyy requests extension of martial law and mobilisation

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has submitted draft laws to the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) to extend mobilisation and martial law for 90 days starting from 5 November.

Details: The draft laws are to be considered by a parliamentary committee before being voted on in the session hall.

Background: On 15 July, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved an extension of the martial law regime and general mobilisation for another 90 days, until 5 November 2025.
