The Russian side has handed the US a non-paper in which it reiterated its previous conditions for achieving peace with Ukraine following a conversation between US President Donald Trump and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin on Thursday 16 October.

Details: Reuters reported that Russia has demanded control over all of Donbas and a ban on NATO troop deployments as part of a post-war settlement.
Reuters did not specify other provisions in the document but noted that they had reiterated conditions previously stated by Moscow for reaching a peace agreement with Ukraine.
