German economy minister arrives in Kyiv

German Economy Minister Katherina Reiche arrived in the Ukrainian capital on the morning of 24 October.

Details: Reiche noted that urgent assistance is needed to repair and secure Ukraine's energy infrastructure. She pledged to use her visit to determine how Germany can provide more targeted and effective support in this area.
The visit will also include discussions on strengthening German-Ukrainian cooperation in the defence sector.

More details: Reiche added that her goal is to bring German and Ukrainian defence companies closer together.
