Firefighters reported late on 26 October that fires caused by a Russian attack on the Desnianskyi and Darnytskyi districts of Kyiv on 24-25 October had been fully extinguished.

Background:
- Two people were killed and 12 were injured in the missile attack on Kyiv on the night of 24-25 October.
- Damage was recorded in the Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi and Dniprovskyi districts. Large-scale fires broke out in several locations, including in non-residential buildings. A kindergarten in the Dniprovskyi district was damaged, and windows were smashed and cars damaged in a residential area.
- Firefighters were still extinguishing fires and clearing debris on the evening of 25 October after the previous night's Russian attack.
