Latvia to deliver military aid and 65 vehicles to Ukraine

Latvia is set to deliver another batch of military aid and 65 vehicles donated by Latvenergo AS in cooperation with Sadales tīkls AS to Ukraine on Monday 3 November.

Details: The delivery event will be attended by Ziedot.lv CEO Rūta Dimanta, Latvenergo Administrative Director Arnis Kurgs, Raimonds Skrebs, Sadales tīkls board member and Technical Director, and Vīgants Radziņš, Sadales tīkls board member and Development Director.

The event will also be attended by Yurii Zakharchuk, an adviser to the Ukrainian Embassy in Latvia, along with Latvenergo and Sadales tīkls employees who volunteer as drivers.

Latvenergo and Sadales tīkls employees will travel to Ukraine on a voluntary basis to deliver all donated vehicles and bulky cargo to the Ukrainian military.

Latvenergo has donated a total of 158 used vehicles to improve the mobility of Ukrainian troops on the front lines, supporting both the movement of military units and the delivery of vital supplies.
