Ukraine has destroyed 48% of Russian Pantsir missile systems this year – Security Service head

Vasyl Maliuk, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, has said that since the start of this year, Ukraine's defence forces have destroyed 48% of Russia's Pantsir surface-to-air artillery and missile systems.

Quote: "Let's face it, the enemy has very strong air defences. And their Pantsirs are the ones that work best against our long-range drones. Since the beginning of 2025 up until today, we have destroyed 48% of their Pantsirs. This is our priority now."
Details: Maliuk added that Russia produces 30 Pantsir systems a year, but the number destroyed is far higher than the number being manufactured.
