Part of Sumy and Sumy district left without electricity after Russian attacks
Russian forces have attacked energy facilities in Sumy Oblast on 1 November, injuring a 33-year-old man.

Details: The Russian attacks targeted energy infrastructure in the Sumy hromada. Power engineers, rescue workers and emergency services are working at the scene. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
"During the downing of enemy UAVs, a 33-year-old resident of the hromada sustained injuries. He was taken to hospital, his condition is moderate," said Hryhorov.
Updated: Later, Hryhorov reported that parts of the Sumy district and the city of Sumy were left without power following the attacks.
Energy teams are working to restore the electricity supply as quickly as possible.Hospitals and emergency services continue to operate, heating in medical facilities remains stable, and critical infrastructure is being switched to backup power sources.
