Trump: India has "largely stopped" buying Russian oil

US President Donald Trump has stated that India has largely stopped buying Russian oil following sanctions and tariffs imposed by Washington.

Details: A journalist asked Trump how his talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi were going.
"That's great. Very good. He has largely stopped buying oil from Russia," he replied.
Trump added that Modi had invited him to visit India and the US president promised to make such a visit.
According to Trump, he may travel to India next year.
Previously: At the end of October, Reuters reported Indian oil refineries had not placed new orders for Russian oil since the imposition of fresh sanctions and were awaiting clarification from the government and suppliers.
