Russia hits three critical infrastructure facilities in Poltava Oblast

Three critical infrastructure facilities suffered damage in Poltava Oblast as a result of a Russian missile and drone attack on the night of 7-8 November.

Details: In particular, an energy facility was damaged in the Kremenchuk district due to strikes and falling debris.

In the Lubny district, an administrative building, other premises of a locomotive depot, and locomotives undergoing maintenance were hit.

In the Poltava district, property belonging to an oil and gas industry company was also damaged. A 43-year-old employee sustained multiple shrapnel wounds.

Background:

  • The city of Horishni Plavni in Poltava Oblast has been left without power, water and heating due to Russian strikes, while Kremenchuk is also experiencing power outages.
  • Train services in Poltava Oblast are significantly delayed due to damage to the railway infrastructure.
