Details: At the beginning of the working day on 10 November, the Kharkiv Metro reported that it had been unable to resume operations due to a lack of electricity.

It was noted that the underground system had been operating in shelter mode and ground transport in the city had been organised taking into account that the metro was temporarily not carrying passengers.

Background: Trains on the Kharkiv metro came to a complete halt on 8 November following another large-scale Russian attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. The Russian strike caused serious power outages in the city and forced authorities to put the metro into emergency operation mode.
