Ukrainian forces withdraw from Rivnopillia in Zaporizhzhia Oblast
The Defence Forces of Ukraine's South have reported that Ukrainian units have withdrawn from the village of Rivnopillia in Zaporizhzhia Oblast to more advantageous positions.

Quote: "On the evening of 11 November 2025, Ukrainian units repositioned to more favourable lines to preserve the lives of personnel following intense fire on our positions near Rivnopillia."
Details: The Ukrainian military said that the Russian advance has been stopped and measures are being taken to block Russian forces and deliver coordinated strikes on them. Fierce fighting continues along other sections of the front line in the area.
The Defence Forces of Ukraine's South also reported that Russian troops continue to launch heavy attacks on the Oleksandrivka and Huliaipole fronts in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and have stepped up assault operations near the settlements of Pryvilne, Zelenyi Hai, Rivnopillia, Pavlivka, Vorone, Stepove and Novopavlivske.
Around 25 combat clashes were recorded on the front.
Quote: "The enemy is suffering heavy losses in its attempts to advance. In the past day alone, 58 soldiers have been killed and nearly 30 wounded."
Background:
- Earlier, the Defence Forces of Ukraine's South reported a withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from positions near five settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast in order to preserve personnel following intensified Russian assault operations and increased fire pressure.
- On 11 November, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the situation on the Pokrovsk front and in Zaporizhzhia Oblast is currently difficult, while in Kupiansk it is "somewhat easier".
