Details: According to Tkach's report, law enforcement bodies controlled by the President's Office may have been monitoring NABU employees to assess potential risks in cases involving the president's inner circle.
This is evidenced by the fact that information on NABU chief Semen Kryvonos and other officials – notably Oleksandr Abakumov, Head of the Main Detective Department who led Operation Midas – has been discovered in a safe house belonging to one of the suspects in the Energoatom embezzlement case.

Sources told Ukrainska Pravda that the suspects would not have been able to obtain official tracking data on NABU operatives without assistance from law enforcement agencies.

Sources within the anti-corruption agencies also said that immediately after the 10 November raids on Tymur Mindich, NABU and Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) investigators received threats warning that there would be a "response".
