Zelenskyy announces energy sector personnel changes amid audit
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he has held a meeting with Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko on further steps to clean up and reboot the management of the energy sector and related institutions, and has announced upcoming personnel decisions.

Quote: "First – I instructed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine [Ukrainian government] to submit to the Verkhovna Rada [Ukrainian parliament] an urgent draft law on the renewal of the composition of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission."
Details: Zelenskyy said new leaders will also be found for the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate and the State Energy Supervision Inspectorate. He has also instructed the prime minister to submit a nomination for a new head for Ukraine's State Property Fund to parliament.
Quote: "Fourth – in full coordination with law enforcement and anti-corruption bodies, [we will] ensure the renewal of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) and promptly complete the competition for the position of head of ARMA so that the new head of the Agency can be selected by the end of this year."
Details: Zelenskyy added that an audit must be carried out promptly and preparations made for the sale of assets and shares owned by Russian entities and collaborators who fled to Russia.
