Russians strike energy facilities in five Ukrainian oblasts

The Russians have attacked energy infrastructure in Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Odesa and Donetsk oblasts.

Details: Repair and recovery work is ongoing at the damaged energy facilities, the Ministry of Energy has reported.

The ministry has recalled that today hourly outage schedules and capacity-limitation schedules for industrial consumers and businesses are in effect from 00:00 to 23:59 in most oblasts of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Energy has urged consumers to use electricity rationally throughout the day, especially during peak consumption hours in the morning and evening. This helps reduce the load on the system.

Background: On Monday 17 November, most oblasts of Ukraine will apply electricity-consumption restriction measures, and hourly outage schedules will be in effect throughout the day.
