Two people have been injured in a Russian strike on the city of Dnipro.

Quote: "The aggressor targeted Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with drones overnight. Two people have been injured in the large-scale attack on Dnipro. A 59-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man have been hospitalised in a moderate condition."

Details: Several fires broke out in Dnipro, damaging a two-storey building housing a media outlet, transport and private businesses, an office building, a car service station, shops and kiosks, a catering establishment, infrastructure, six high-rise residential buildings, garages and over 20 cars. Three more cars were destroyed.

The Russians damaged infrastructure in the Samar and Pavlohrad districts.

The Nikopol district was attacked by the Russians using FPV drones and artillery.

Haivanenko said that defenders of the sky had destroyed 33 Russian drones over the oblast.

Background:

  • Late on the evening of 17 November, Russian forces attacked Dnipro with drones, causing fires in the city.
  • It later emerged that several trains in Dnipro had departed with delays after a Russian drone attack, which also had blown out some windows at the railway station, left parts of the region without power and damaged the building housing the regional office of Ukrainian public broadcaster Suspilne and Ukrainian Radio Dnipro.
