Ukrainian air defence downs 442 Russian drones and over 40 cruise missiles overnight, hits reported at 14 locations

Russia launched a combined attack on Ukraine's critical infrastructure using loitering munitions and both air-to-surface and surface-to-surface missiles on the night of 18-19 November.

Details: Overall, Ukrainian air surveillance troops detected and tracked 524 aerial assets – 48 missiles and 476 drones of various types.
- 476 Shahed-type and Gerbera loitering munitions (with around 300 of them being Shaheds).
- 40 Kh-101 cruise missiles
- 7 Kalibr cruise missiles
- 6 Iskander-M cruise missiles
Lviv, Ternopil and Kharkiv oblasts were the main targets of the attack.
Early reports indicate that by 10:00, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 483 aerial assets: 442 Russian drones of the Shahed and Gerbera types (and other UAVs), 34 Kh-101 cruise missiles and 7 Kalibr cruise missiles.
Hits by 7 missiles and 34 attack drones have been recorded at 14 locations so far and debris from downed assets has fallen at 6 locations.
The aerial attack is being repelled by the Ukrainian Air Force, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from the defence forces.
The attack is still ongoing, as several Russian drones are still in Ukrainian airspace.
