Russia hits yet another Ukrainian thermal power plant

Russia struck a thermal power plant belonging to DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy company, during an attack on Ukraine on the night of 18-19 November.

Details: This is already the fifth attack on one of the company's thermal power plants in the past two months.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, DTEK's thermal power plants have been attacked more than 210 times.

Background: On the morning of 19 November, explosions were heard in Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts as Russia launched drone and missile attacks on Ukraine.
