Two people killed and five injured in Russian attack on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Two people have been killed in the town of Marhanets in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and five others have been injured in the Nikopol district as a result of Russian attacks.

Quote: "It has been a difficult day for the Nikopol district. Russian forces pounded the district centre and the Pokrovsk, Marhanets, Myriv and Chervonohryhorivka hromadas using FPV drones, UAVs and artillery. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
One of the strikes in Marhanets resulted in the deaths of a 42-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man. Condolences to their families and friends.
Five other people in the district sustained injuries: a 59-year-old man and [four] women aged 21, 48, 51 and 69. Doctors have assessed the latter's condition as serious."
Details: Several fires broke out in the settlements. Nearly 10 petrol stations were damaged. Damage was caused to infrastructure facilities, two five-storey residential buildings, a house, a shop and a garage. Vehicles, outbuildings and a gas pipeline were also damaged.
Haivanenko added that in Dnipro, the number of people injured in the overnight attack has risen to 16.
