Russia attacks Sumy, causing power outages and destroying fire engine

Russian forces attacked the city of Sumy on 24 November, leaving part of the city without electricity.

Details: Rolling outage schedules remain in effect in the city.

Russian forces also struck a residential area in the city's suburbs.

The State Emergency Service said the Russians deliberately struck firefighters in Sumy.

Quote from the State Emergency Service: "Firefighters arrived at the scene of the strike immediately and began extinguishing the fire.

At that moment, while the firefighters were working, the enemy carried out a repeat UAV attack."

Details: The emergency service reported that the fire engine was destroyed, but all personnel managed to take cover in time and were unharmed.
