The nature of the enemy's actions indicates an intention to cut the land connection between Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk in the near future. The Russians aim to encircle the city by moving towards the settlements of Rivne and Svitle."

Details: It is noted that air assault units are holding back the Russians near Krasnyi Lyman.

Russian forces are attempting to storm the northern part of Myrnohrad in small infantry groups. The Russians are advancing round the clock and are using aerial drones to adjust their movements.

According to the assault troops, the defence forces are reinforcing their grouping in the city to protect its southern outskirts. In this zone, the Russians are trying to build up manpower for further attempted advances.

It is also reported that, in the north-eastern part of Myrnohrad, the 38th Separate Marine Brigade captured four Russian soldiers who had attempted to storm the city. Three of the detainees were former convicts released after signing military contracts. The Russians said that before the assault they had spent four days living in the basement of a building in a nearby settlement. The assault troops had no food or water.

After their capture, Ukrainian soldiers provided them with all necessary conditions and assistance in accordance with international humanitarian law.
