The Novus logistics centre covered 40,000 sq m. It was the company's only distribution centre, consolidated from seven smaller facilities.

The company later officially confirmed that the logistics centre had been damaged. It is currently not operational.

According to Novus, four supplier drivers who had arrived to unload goods were killed in the attack, and five other people were injured.

The company is currently assessing the scale of the damage. Despite the strike, there will be no shortage of goods in the stores, the statement emphasised.

Novus noted that logistics routes will be reorganised to ensure the stable operation of all branches of the chain and to resume warehouse operations as soon as possible.
