US army secretary to visit Kyiv this week

Daniel Driscoll, US Secretary of the Army, is set to travel to Kyiv this week to finalise steps aimed at ending the war in Ukraine.

As President Donald Trump outlined, we expect the Secretary of the Army in Kyiv later this week, and we are ready to continue working as swiftly as possible to finalise the steps necessary to end the bloodshed."

Details: Yermak added that a solid basis has been laid in Geneva and that "President Zelenskyy, along with the entire team in Kyiv, are fully committed to further cooperation".

He also noted that a meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump will be prepared promptly and thoroughly on Ukraine's side.
