Units of Ukraine's defence forces carried out successful strikes on several key facilities belonging to Russia on the night of 28-29 November.

Details: In the city of Taganrog in Russia's Rostov Oblast, Ukrainian forces hit facilities at the Beriev Aircraft Company aviation repair plant, which is used to upgrade Tu-95 strategic bombers and A-50 airborne early warning aircraft. Initial reports indicate that a fire has broken out in a workshop used to repair Tu-95 aircraft. The outcome of the strike is being clarified.

Ukraine's defence forces have also once again struck the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai, which is involved in supplying the Russian troops. Explosions have been recorded in the target area, followed by a fire at the facility.

The scale of the damage is being assessed.

In addition, the destruction of an RV-5000 vertical storage tank has been confirmed after strikes on 25 November 2025 on infrastructure at the marine oil terminal in the port of Tuapse in Krasnodar Krai in Russia.

Background: On the night of 28-29 November, a video footage appeared on public channels showing drones attacking the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai, sparking a fire at the facility.
