Four people have been killed and the number of injured has risen to 40 due to a Russian missile strike on the city of Dnipro on 1 December. Search and rescue operations have been completed.

Quote from Haivanenko: "Forty people have been injured in Dnipro as of this moment. The vast majority are in hospital. Unfortunately, 11 are in a serious condition."

Details: Haivanenko reported that four people have been killed. "Search and rescue operations have been completed," he wrote.

Background:

  • On the morning of 1 December, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the central part of Dnipro. They hit the premises of a business and damaged a civilian facility, high-rise buildings, cars, shops and a bank office.
  • Under the procedural oversight of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office, a criminal case has been launched over the commission of a war crime under Article 438.2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
