Ukrainian air defence downs over 80 Russian drones: 27 UAVs hit 13 locations

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 111 drones of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types on the night of 2-3 December, around 60 of which were Shaheds.

Details: As of 08:00, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 83 Russian drones of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types in the country's north, south and east.

Hits by 27 UAVs were recorded at 13 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at one location.

The attack inflicted its most serious damage on civilian infrastructure facilities and houses in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Odesa oblasts. Sadly, civilian casualties have been reported.

Anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces were involved in repelling the attack.
