Russia loses 1,240 soldiers over past day

Russia has lost 1,240 soldiers killed and wounded over the past day, bringing its total number of personnel losses to 1,178,610.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 5 December 2025 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• 1,558 (+2) multiple-launch rocket systems
• 1,253 (+0) air defence systems
• 431 (+1) fixed-wing aircraft
• 347 (+0) helicopters
• 86,900 (+424) operational-tactical UAVs
• 4,024 (+0) cruise missiles
• 28 (+0) ships/boats
• 1 (+0) submarine
• 68,907 (+94) vehicles and fuel tankers
• 4,014 (+2) special vehicles and other equipment.
