Russian forces launched a large-scale missile and drone attack on power generation, distribution and transmission facilities in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Lviv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv oblasts on the night of 5-6 December.

Details: The attack has left consumers without power in Odesa, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv oblasts as of the morning of 6 December.

Emergency repair work is underway where conditions are secure enough. "Power engineers are doing everything possible to restore power to all consumers as quickly as possible," the Energy Ministry said.

Rolling outages are in effect in all Ukrainian oblasts on 6 December. Power restrictions for industrial consumers and businesses remain in effect nationwide.
