Russia launches large-scale attack on energy facilities in Poltava Oblast

Russian forces attacked energy facilities in Poltava Oblast on the night of 6-7 December. Direct hits and damage to technical equipment have been reported, and some areas are experiencing disruptions to heating and water supply.

Details: Kohut said fires broke out as a result of direct hits and falling debris. Technical equipment was damaged.
Debris from a Russian drone also damaged an outbuilding on the grounds of a private property. No reports of casualties have been received.
"The attack caused disruptions to heating and water supply in several areas of the hromada. All the appropriate services are dealing with the aftermath of the strike," Kohut said.
