Russians strike Sloviansk with drones: one killed, child injured – photos

One person has been killed and a 15-year-old child injured in Russian drone attacks on the city of Sloviansk in Donetsk Oblast.

Details: Twelve houses and a shop were damaged, and fires broke out.

Firefighters contained the blaze in three houses and a garage, but efforts had to be suspended due to the threat of repeat Russian strikes.

Russian forces attacked a residential area, causing damage and a fire in a summer kitchen in the village of Novoukrainka in the Dobropillia hromada. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Firefighters contained the roof and ceiling fire, but work was halted because of the risk of repeat attacks.
