Details: The man said he heard the distinctive sound of a drone behind him. He immediately began to run away.
"I heard the sound of an FPV behind me and immediately started to run. If I hadn't jumped, I would not be here now," he explained.
The blast and cry for help were heard by soldiers from a mobile fire group from Ukraine's Khyzhak brigade. They quickly arrived at the scene. The man was found to have a broken leg and shrapnel wounds.
The soldiers provided first aid and the man was carried to a shelter. After that, an evacuation team was called.
He was taken to hospital.
"This incident is further evidence that the Russians are deliberately striking civilians, turning frontline areas into a hunting ground," the National Police said.
