Russians attack Ukraine with 149 UAVs, 131 of which fail to reach their targets

Russia has attacked Ukraine with 149 drones of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types since the evening of 7 December. Ukrainian air defence forces have downed 131 UAVs, though some managed to hit targets.

Quote: "As of 09:00, our air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 131 enemy drones of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types in the country's north, south and east. Hits by 16 UAVs were recorded at 11 locations and the falling of downed drones (debris) at 4 locations."
Details: Drones were launched from the Russian cities of Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Millerovo, as well as from temporarily occupied Donetsk and Cape Chuda in Crimea.
About 90 of the UAVs were Shahed drones.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces were involved in repelling the attack.
