Two civilians killed in Russian drone strikes on Sumy Oblast

Two civilians were killed and one person was injured in Russian drone attacks on border areas of the Sumy district on Tuesday 9 December.

Details: Hryhorov said that a 73-year-old man was killed in the Myropillia hromada after the Russians deliberately struck a civilian car. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

In the Krasnopillia hromada, a Russian drone attacked another civilian vehicle. Two people inside – a man and a woman – were injured. The 61-year-old man died from his injuries and the woman is being taken to hospital.

Background: On 8 December, two people were killed and 23 were injured in Russian strikes on Kherson, Sumy and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
