Trump still unsure whether US will join "peace plan" talks in Paris
US President Donald Trump has said he is still uncertain whether his country will attend the meeting in France to discuss the US "peace plan".

Details: As reported, a meeting will be held in Paris on Saturday 13 December between senior US officials and representatives of Ukraine, France, Germany and the UK to discuss Trump's "peace plan".
"There is a meeting on Saturday. We'll see whether or not we attend the meeting. We said we'll attend the meeting if they think there is a good chance," Trump said.
He stressed that European leaders want the US to take part.
"We'll be attending the meeting on Saturday in Europe if we think there is a good chance. We don't want to waste a lot of time. We think it's negative. We want it to get settled," the US president added.

- On Thursday 11 December, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the United States' "compromise vision" regarding control over the Donbas areas currently under Ukrainian control is that Ukrainian troops withdraw from the territory of Donetsk Oblast and Russian troops do not enter it.
- Zelenskyy also said that the US side had not put forward a strict deadline by which the US president wants to see an agreement reached to end Russia's war against Ukraine.
- Meanwhile, Trump claimed that his Ukrainian counterpart is the only one who does not like Washington's proposed plan to end the war.
