Details: Ukrenergo, Ukraine's state-owned electricity transmission operator, reported that the Russians carried out drone strikes on energy facilities in several regions on the night of 13-14 December. As a result, some consumers remain without power in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts as of the morning of 15 December.
In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, a repeat Russian strike on an energy facility injured an energy sector worker. The injured person was taken to hospital and is receiving the necessary medical care.
Background: Over the weekend, Odesa Oblast was hit by one of the largest-scale attacks. The Russians deliberately targeted electricity distribution and transmission facilities, including substations belonging to Ukrenergo. Consumers in Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts have been temporarily left without electricity.
