Quote: "[Russian leader Vladimir – ed.] Putin does not believe in people. He believes only in power and money. He spends around 30,000 soldiers' lives on the front every month. Not wounded – 30,000 each month killed. There was a month when 25,000 Russians were killed and another month – 31,000. We have drone footage confirming these deaths."
Details: Zelenskyy stressed that Russian assaults are always insanely bloody, but that Putin does not care about this.
"Russians do not count their dead. But they do count every dollar and every euro they lose. That is why a strong decision on Russian money is needed. These funds must work to defend against Russia. And I urge you to support this," the Ukrainian president said.
Background: Ukraine's General Staff publishes daily data on Russia's losses in the war. According to these figures, Russia has recently been losing between 710 and 1,400 personnel per day. Previously, the General Staff explained that these numbers include both killed and wounded troops.
