Seven people, including firefighters, injured in Russian attacks across four oblasts – photos

Russian forces attacked populated areas in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Kherson oblasts on 17 December, injuring three civilians. Four firefighters were also injured in the town of Druzhkivka in Donetsk Oblast after an FPV drone struck a fire engine on the evening of 16 December.

Details: In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, a Russian first-person view (FPV) drone attacked a civilian car in the Kushuhum hromada, injuring a 67-year-old man and damaging the vehicle. He is receiving medical care. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
Investigators have established that a drone struck the village of Zamist in the Kupiansk district in Kharkiv Oblast at around 06:40 on 17 December. A 50-year-old man sustained abrasions and an acute stress reaction as a result of the attack.

The Russians also struck Kherson at around 07:00. The central part of the city came under fire. A projectile hit the roof of an apartment building, damaging the roofing, windows and the water supply system. One person was injured.
Additionally, the Russians used an FPV drone to attack firefighters in Druzhkivka as they were responding to a call about a fire on the evening of 16 December. The strike hit a fire engine, injuring four SES employees, who were taken to hospital. The vehicle was also damaged.

Background: Earlier, Anastasiia Miedviedieva, spokeswoman for Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office, told Suspilne Donbas that 16 December Russian attacks on Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka had killed one person and injured four.
