Quote from Sukhomlyn: "While speaking with residents of southern Odesa Oblast, I heard the question: 'Will we be left without parcels at Christmas and New Year?' The answer is definitely no. Parcels will get through. And everything will be fine."
Details: Sukhomlyn said that dealing with the aftermath of the attacks is ongoing.
"I am not disclosing details. But solutions have been worked out to prevent a logistics crisis. The situation is difficult. But we have experience. And our people are talented, strong and professional," he stressed.
Background:
- The bridge on the M-15 Odesa-Reni (towards Bucharest) road in the village of Maiaky in Odesa Oblast, which Russian forces have attacked repeatedly, has been closed to traffic since 08:00 on 19 December.
- On the same day, freight traffic on the M-15 Odesa-Reni road was halted due to the need to deal with the aftermath of Russian strikes on Odesa Oblast.
- The Agency for Restoration, in cooperation with other services, is working to fully restore transport links in southern Odesa Oblast in the coming days, while construction of additional temporary transport facilities may take two and a half months.
