Zelenskyy says US will report back on meeting with Russian delegation in Miami
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the United States will brief Ukraine on talks with the Russian delegation in Miami.

Details: Zelenskyy said the US delegation had stayed on for talks with Russian representatives and will brief Ukraine on the discussions.
Quote: "The Americans have now stayed for talks with the Russian representatives. They will talk. And then we will receive information from them, and they will receive all the information from us."
Details: The president also said that the Ukrainian delegation is on its way back from talks with US representatives in Miami.
"The delegation will provide details [of the talks – ed.] overnight. In my view, everything important that we had to do for the first drafts is already there. There are 20 points in the plan. It is probably not perfect in every respect. But the plan exists," he added.
Background:
- Rustem Umierov, Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council and head of the Ukrainian delegation in the US, described meetings with US and European representatives over three days in Florida as productive and constructive.
- US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff also said that the talks between representatives of the United States, Europe and Ukraine were productive.
- US Vice President JD Vance said that progress has been made in the peace talks aimed at ending the war in Ukraine, but there is no certainty a settlement will be reached.
