Russians attack evacuation mission in Kostiantynivka with drone: 1 killed, 2 injured

One person was killed and two others injured as a result of a drone strike by Russian forces on an evacuation mission in the city of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Oblast.

Details: According to Horbunov, two more people sustained injuries of varying severity.

"Those who were injured were promptly taken to the Druzhkivka city hospital, where they are currently receiving all necessary medical care," he said.

Horbunov added that at the time of the attack, the people were engaged in evacuating others from dangerous areas. It was another evacuation mission aimed at saving the lives of residents of the hromada.

A passenger car belonging to the public organisation Kramatorsk Association of Volunteers also came under Russian fire. The vehicle had been used daily to evacuate civilians from the most dangerous areas.

No damage to residential buildings was recorded as a result of the strike.

Law enforcement agencies continue to document crimes committed by the Russian Federation.
