Details: The video was likely circulated by the Russians and later spread through Ukrainian soldiers' chat rooms. The footage allegedly shows a command observation post of one of the Territorial Defence brigades that had been abandoned by Ukrainian soldiers, with working computers, documents and even an unlocked phone left behind. Sources told Ukrainska Pravda that the incident occurred on 18 December.
Asked to comment on the authenticity of the recording and whether such an incident had taken place, the spokesperson for the Defence Forces of Ukraine's South said the following.
Quote: "The appropriate competent authorities are conducting a detailed investigation into this incident, which must establish the reasons for and circumstances of such a situation and, in general, whether it actually took place. Only after that will the information be made public.
In addition, law enforcement agencies will open criminal proceedings. And, based on the results of the investigation, an assessment will be given of the actions of every official involved in these events. Nobody and nothing will be covered up."
Details: Commenting on the overall situation in Huliaipole, Voloshyn said Russian forces are trying to enter the city centre and move reinforcement and assault groups into the outskirts.
Street fighting is ongoing in the settlement, with 20 combat clashes recorded over the past day. As of 18:00 on 25 December, six combat clashes had ended and several others were still ongoing, the officer said.
