Russia attacks energy facility in Odesa Oblast, causing significant damage

Russian forces attacked a power facility belonging to DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy company, in the south of Odesa Oblast on the night of 25-26 December.

Details: It was reported that the damage was significant.

"Restoring the equipment will take time. We are working in an enhanced mode to deal with the aftermath of the attack as quickly as possible," the statement said.

Background: On the night of 24-25 December, the Russians again attacked port infrastructure in Odesa Oblast, including facilities in Chornomorsk and on the territory of one of the port terminals.
