UAV operators from the 17th Special Purpose Centre have released footage showing strikes on Russian forces in Dronivka, Donetsk Oblast, near Siversk, Serebrianka and the Siverskyi Donets River.

Details: According to the DeepState map, Dronivka is currently partially occupied by the Russians, with most of the settlement lying in the grey zone.

Background:

  • On 23 December, the General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces had withdrawn from the city of Siversk in Donetsk Oblast, where the Russians have a significant advantage in manpower and equipment and continue their advance.
  • On 22 December, the 7th Air Assault Corps said that Russian forces were attempting to move personnel across the Siverskyi Donets River, describing the situation in Serebrianka as extremely difficult. It was reported that the situation in Serebrianka, located to the north-east of Siversk, was critical.
  • According to the DeepState map as of 22 December, Serebrianka was under Russian control, Siversk was also partially occupied, and most of the city was in the grey zone.
  • On 19 December, the Air Assault Forces said that reports of Russian troops capturing the settlements of Serebrianka and Dronivka in Donetsk Oblast did not correspond to reality.
