Ukraine destroys Russian air defence assets in Crimea again before Christmas – video

Fighters from Prymary (Phantoms), a special unit from Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), destroyed several high-value Russian targets in occupied Crimea ahead of Christmas.

Details: DIU reported the following successful hits:

- an RSP-6M2 radar system
- a Redut-221 command-and-control vehicle from a Buk-M3 air defence missile system
- an RPN 9S36M radar from a Buk-M3 air defence missile system.
Quote: "DIU's hunters also struck an enemy defensive structure used to store weapons and military equipment, near which two Russian occupiers were loitering."
Background:
- DIU's Prymary unit recently attacked a 39R6 Kasta-2E2 radar station in occupied Crimea as well as a 96L6 radar operating as part of the S-400 Triumf air defence missile system.
- The unit had earlier destroyed a Russian An-26 military transport aircraft and two radar systems in temporarily occupied Crimea.
