Russian strikes kill one in Kyiv and one in Bila Tserkva, interior minister says

At least two people have been killed in a Russian attack on Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast.

Quote from Klymenko: "As of now, one person is confirmed dead and more than 20 people have been injured in the capital. In the oblast, strikes have been recorded on about a dozen civilian facilities. There is also one person killed in Bila Tserkva."

Details: More than 10 residential buildings have been damaged in Kyiv.

The National Police of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have evacuated 68 people from a care home for the elderly in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv.

One person may be trapped under rubble in Kyiv's Dniprovskyi district; search and rescue operations continue.

Kyiv Oblast Military Administration said that a woman, 47, was killed in the Bila Tserkva district. Five people have been injured in the city of Bila Tserkva.

A total of 14 people have been injured across the oblast.

Background: Russia launched nearly 500 drones against Ukraine, a significant number of which were Shaheds, as well as 40 missiles, including Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, on the night of 26-27 December.
