Details: Zelenskyy said that "we really needed" the meetings between Ukrainian representatives and US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Quote: "I think our meetings helped them understand many details: on security guarantees, including legal support for those guarantees and what we need; on the risks of an arrangement with the Russians, because it may exist today but not work tomorrow; and, to be honest, what our people are like."
More details: Zelenskyy added that on "sensitive matters" such as territories and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), US representatives now have a "deeper [understanding of] all these issues after our meetings".
