Russians strike Poltava Oblast twice: energy facility damaged

Russian forces have attacked Poltava Oblast twice on 28 December, targeting energy infrastructure.

Details: The first missile fell in an open area in the Myrhorod district, the authorities reported.

Later, the Russians struck again, hitting an energy facility and damaging technological equipment.

As of 28 December, power engineers are repairing the damage.

No casualties were reported in either incident.

Background: As of the morning of 28 December, more than 10,000 households in Kyiv Oblast remain without electricity.
