Ukraine's Azov Corps denies Russian claim of capturing Rodynske in Donetsk Oblast – video

The Chervona Kalyna 14th Operational Brigade of the First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine has stated that the town of Rodynske in Donetsk Oblast – which Russians claimed to have captured in recent days – is in fact under the control of Ukraine's defence forces.

Quote: "Ukraine's defence forces are holding Rodynske, despite the occupiers' false claims. Russian soldiers who manage to slip into the town are being detected and wiped out using all available means. Combat operations continue around the clock."
Details: The brigade reiterated that Russia constantly uses lies as a weapon.
"Our mission is to oppose Russian forces in all dimensions of this war," the 14th Brigade said, posting a video showing the Ukrainian flag being raised in Rodynske by its soldiers.

- On 28 December, the Russian propaganda agency RIA Novosti reported the alleged capture of the town of Rodynske in Donetsk Oblast.
